Marty Rosenheck, Ph.D., CPT, is Chief Learning Strategist and VP at Cedar Interactive, a custom training and performance solutions company. He has been helping people and organizations develop expert performance for over 20 years. Marty has designed award-winning learning and performance support systems, conducted needs assessments, developed curricula, knowledge transfer and blended learning strategies for numerous non-profit and for-profit organizations. Based on his doctoral work in Cognitive Science, Marty developed a learning approach called Performance Centered Learning® that accelerates the speed to proficiency through a combination of knowledge engineering and case-based learning. He has shared his ideas on developing expert performance in numerous presentations and workshops with audiences ranging from 15 to 250, with consistently high ratings both for the quality of the content and for his presentation/facilitation skills. Marty has given presentations for the Chicagoland chapter of ASTD, National and local ISPI conferences, the Society for Insurance Trainers and Educators (SITE), Learning Leaders Conference and other organizations. He has also written numerous articles for industry publications, including CLO Magazine, Training Today and the SITE Journal.

Dr. Allison Rossett — a board member for the E-learning Guild and the Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Rossett has been a long time Professor of Educational Technology at San Diego State University. She has authored some of e-learning’s best books such as ‘Job Aids and Performance Support,’ ‘The ASTD E-learning Handbook,’ and the award winning ‘First Things Fast: A Handbook for Performance Analysis.’ Dr. Rossett is known for her irreverent and substantive style when she teaches and delivers keynotes about instructional design and learning and performance technologies.

Paul Rotatori is an Organization Development Consultant at the Wrigley Confectionary Company.
While at Wrigley, he has worked on projects in a variety of areas, including competency
development, learning & development measurement and implementing SAP HR/standardized HR processes.
Prior to the Wrigley Company, Mr. Rotatori worked for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., where his
tenure culminated with an internship in their Employee Metrics department working on a validation
project for a selection assessment tool. He received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, from Saint Xavier University and Elmhurst College
respectively.

Ms. Russell advises and monitors these efforts in order to disseminate and share lessons that are learned throughout the Walgreen Company and other companies. Walgreen Company is the nation’s largest drugstore chain and the 3rd largest of food and drug stores. Fortune Magazine ranks Walgreens as the 40th largest company in America and it employs over 230,000 people.

Richard has spent the last 7 years of his career with Grant Thornton’s Strategic Learning Group. He has had responsibility in several areas, including managing internal client relationships, leading learning design and development and driving measurement of learning impact. Currently he leads the team’s technology efforts to drive innovation, learning effectiveness and operational efficiency through the organization.
During the first part of his career, Richard worked in Spain, first performing market research and then teaching English as a second language to business professionals. In the U.S., he then managed client relationships and led business development efforts in the financial services industry.
Subsequently Richard worked as a Partner at Thinkeractive, a learning and development-focused consulting firm, which served clients such as Accenture, Wrigley and the Chicago Public Schools.
He earned his BAs in Marketing and Spanish at Michigan State University. Richard later completed his graduate work at Northwestern University, earning a Master’s degree in Learning Sciences, a combination of learning theory, cognitive psychology and technology.
Richard has spoken at a number of professional events and organizations, including the ASTD BEST Awards, Elliott Masie’s Learning 2006, and Northwestern’s School of Education and Social Policy.
