Michelle Reid-Powell has spent almost 20 years designing leadership development and training strategies. As a strategic leader for large, global organizations, she had the opportunity to contribute to organizational effectiveness in a broad range of business environments. She has gone from building the Microsoft technical curriculum strategy to creating the e-Learning solution for McDonald’s Worldwide. In that time, she has found that there is one clear business driver that separates good companies from great – and that is the quality of their people. Their talent, their passion, their values, their knowledge. Michelle’s mission (in her current position as Director of Training and Leadership Development for Potbelly Sandwich Works - as well as her personal mission through speaking engagements, published articles, etc.) is to help companies achieve business goals by hiring, developing, engaging and retaining talented people. When companies are made up of inspired leaders who are devoted to doing their best work – it’s magic. Businesses achieve their goals, shareholders enjoy the benefits, and employees enjoy a work environment that allows them to achieve personal success.
