Dr. Barr’s involvement with The Chicago School began with the inception of the master's program in I/O Psychology in 2001. He is responsible for the school’s external consulting services and supervises students and other faculty engaged in consulting across several disciplines. Dr. Barr is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Society of Consulting Psychology—Division 13 of the American Psychology Association. He also serves on the Presidential Task Force for the Standards for Education for Consulting Psychologists. His interests/expertise cover a wide variety of workplace issues including job satisfaction, employee motivation and loyalty, leadership development, stress, trends, team building, 360 feedback, and work/life balance.
